Email address and details you provide when subscribing. Payment information handled and stored by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store your full card details. Usage data such as opens, clicks, and basic analytics via our newsletter platform (beehiiv) and website.
3. How we use it
To deliver the newsletter and your subscription, process payments, respond to you, improve the service, and send service or marketing emails (unsubscribe anytime).
4. Third parties
beehiiv (newsletter delivery, subscriber management, hosting) and Stripe (payments). We do not sell your personal information.
5. YouTube API Services
Our internal publishing tool ("Applied Analyst Uploader") uses YouTube API Services to upload our own educational videos to our own YouTube channel (The Applied Analyst). By using our site and channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data in connection with YouTube API Services is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Our tool accesses only our own channel's data via OAuth, does not access, collect, or store any data about our visitors or any third-party YouTube users, and its authorization can be revoked at any time via Google security settings.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data, or opt out of marketing — email us to exercise them. You can unsubscribe from emails anytime via the link in every email.
